About English Brass Academy
English Brass Academy enthuses and inspires brass players to value instrumental performance as a core element in their personal, social, educational and family lives. It enables and supports vibrant and collaborative partnerships worldwide and encourages brass players to maximise their potential as performing musicians.
English Brass Academy is an educational resource focussed on providing creative performance opportunities for brass players. It is a collaboarative organisation offering bespoke courses or programmes that are relevant to the musicians and the environment in which the activities take place.

Developing and sustaining long-term relationships is a core element in my work with English Brass Academy. We want our partnerships to open the expertise and experience of the English Brass Academy tutors to all within the community, connecting musicians with each other and bringing together performers from diverse backgrounds. Our tutors are experienced, world class performers and they work with me to develop courses that are innovative and creative. My aim is to help brass players develop the skills necessary to build confidence based on technical knowledge and musical awareness in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere.

Many of our courses are for young brass players aged 8 - 18 years and they offer a valuable performance-based experience encouraging everyone to rehearse, perform and socialise in a supportive atmosphere.

In addition to our UK courses we also develop courses in Poland and Japan and we promote our English Brass Academy Festivals in a variety of countries throughout the world such as Croatia and Kuwait. These Festivals allow musicians from many countries to come together, giving them the the opportunity to work, rehearse and perform in exciting locations

English Brass Academy works closely with English Music Academy, an organisation promoting courses both nationally and internationally.
Both these organisations partner with the London Mozart Players, one of the world's finest chamber orchestra, and regularly engages the skills and experience of the orchestras members and administrative staff. This sharing of resources connects interested parents and students with the work of the orchestra resulting in further performance opportunities as part of the LMP's education and community work.
